Since our opening in 2021, we have been your committed gastronomic partner at the Humboldt Forum, present with three diverse units: our Lebenswelten Bistro, a stylish event room with bar and the inviting Forum Café.
The Lebenswelten Bistro is open daily and, as a self-service restaurant, invites you to enjoy uncomplicated lunches or enjoyable breaks over coffee and cake in a unique atmosphere. With a view of the Schlüterhof and the passage, it offers an impressive backdrop.
Our event room with integrated bar is the ideal location for receptions, workshops, meetings and private events. Flexibly designed, it can accommodate up to 70 people with bar tables or offers 50 seats. For larger events, the event space can be seamlessly combined with the bistro, accommodating up to 250 guests. During the summer months, the outdoor terrace in the Schlüterhof can also be used, offering seating for more than 300 additional guests. Our inclusive team supports you professionally from the planning stage through to on-site service.
The Forum Café is the perfect stop for exhibition visitors on the 1st floor of the staircase and offers coffee specialties, snacks and small meals for a relaxing visit.

Our offer has something for every taste:
Look forward to a large salad buffet, tried and tested German classics, attractive vegetarian bowls and soups, as well as a daily vegetarian dish that changes weekly. This is complemented by a diverse selection of cakes, desserts and coffee specialities. In addition, the bistro can be booked exclusively as an event location for up to 250 people for special occasions. In summer, the outdoor terrace expands the total capacity by 300 additional seats, ideal for larger parties or corporate events.


Our event room with integrated bar in the heart of the Humboldt Forum offers the ideal location for your receptions, workshops, meetings and private events. The room can be booked exclusively for 25 people or more and can be used flexibly: It offers space for up to 50 seats and, if required, can be comfortably furnished with bar tables for around 70 people. For larger events, the room can be seamlessly combined with our bistro living environments. In summer, the outdoor terrace at Schlüterhof significantly expands capacity so that, depending on the type of event, a total of over 600 guests can be accommodated — ideal for your meetings, receptions or company parties. Our dedicated, inclusive team will provide you with professional support from planning to implementation and on-site service. We take care of your catering, drinks and equipment — everything smoothly and smoothly so that you can concentrate fully on your guests.

Our Forum Café is conveniently located on the 1st floor, directly in the main stairwell. It is easily and directly accessible via the main entrance to the exhibitions.
You do not need a ticket to visit our Lebenswelten Bistro; it is freely accessible to all guests. Our Forum Café, however, is located in the exhibition area's stairwell and is exclusively accessible to exhibition visitors. Therefore, a valid museum ticket is required for a visit to the Forum Café.
