a) When Visiting the Website
The website of Lebenswelten Restaurations GmbH collects general data and information each time it is accessed. When you visit our website www.lebenswelten-catering.de, your browser automatically sends information to our website's server.

If you have any questions, you can contact us using the form provided on our website. A valid email address is required. Providing further information is optional.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR with your freely given consent.

Your personal data processed via the contact form will be automatically deleted after your inquiry has been processed.

3. Disclosure of Data

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR,
  • disclosure is necessary in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims,

a) Tracking Tools
The tracking measures we use are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google AdWords Conversion Tracking
To statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website for you, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. Google AdWords places a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad.

These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the AdWords customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be used to track user behavior across different AdWords customers.

Cookies cannot be used to track users across the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can personally identify users.

6. Social Media Plugins

On our website, we use social plugins from the social networks Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f GDPR to promote our services. The underlying advertising purpose is considered a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR.

a) Facebook
Our website uses social media plugins from Facebook to personalize your experience. We use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button for this purpose. This is a service offered by Facebook.

The operating company of Facebook is Facebook, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. If a data subject resides outside the USA or Canada, the data controller responsible for processing personal data is Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook's servers. The plugin content is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the website.

c) LinkedIn
This website includes elements of the LinkedIn social media network. The company is headquartered at LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For the European Economic Area and Switzerland, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, is responsible for data processing. The social plugins are clearly marked with the LinkedIn logo. As soon as the data subject interacts with, activates, or clicks on the plugins, the data subject's browser establishes a direct connection to LinkedIn's servers. LinkedIn logs usage data, which, in addition to the IP address, can include, for example, login data, device information, or information about the browser used, websites visited, and the internet or mobile provider of the data subject. If the data subject interacts with LinkedIn plugins via a smartphone, their location can also be determined with separate consent. If the data subject is simultaneously logged into LinkedIn, the usage data is added to the user profile and data is transferred to Microsoft and Google.

If you do not want LinkedIn to associate the data collected via our website with your LinkedIn profile, you must log out of LinkedIn before visiting our website.

7. Legal Basis for Processing

Article 6(1)(a) GDPR serves as the legal basis for our company's processing operations where we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations necessary for the delivery of goods or the provision of other services or consideration, the processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The same applies to processing operations that are necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures, such as in cases of inquiries about our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation that requires the processing of personal data, such as for the fulfillment of tax obligations, the processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

8. Duration for which the personal data will be stored

After the expiry of the retention period, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted, provided they are no longer required for the performance of a contract or for taking steps prior to entering into a contract.

9. Data Subject Rights

You have the right:

  • pursuant to Article 15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if they were not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, where applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved;
  • pursuant to Article 16 GDPR, to request the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data or the completion of incomplete personal data stored by us;
  • pursuant to Article 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
  • to request the restriction of processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 18 GDPR if you contest the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful but you oppose its erasure, we no longer need the data but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to processing pursuant to Article 21 GDPR;
  • to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request its transmission to another controller pursuant to Article 20 GDPR;
  • to withdraw your consent at any time pursuant to Article 7(3) GDPR. This means that we will no longer be permitted to process the data based on this consent in the future; and
  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 GDPR. You can usually contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, your place of work, or our firm's registered office.

10. Right to Object

If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided there are grounds relating to your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without requiring you to specify a particular situation.

11. Data Security

We use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when you visit our website. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can recognize whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed padlock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
